WHO IS AN USHER IN THE CHURCH
An Usher is a patron who is chosen by God to serve in his or God's Church
In the old testament in the book of 2 kings 22:4, the ushers were called doorkeepers at the Temple. Also in the book of Jeremiah 35, the Ushers were called the doorkeepers
An Usher should be one who is dedicated to the church and should be available for church services 1 chronicles 15:23
DUTIES
> Should maintain order at any door of the church
> Should maintain order in the church and outside
> Should maintain people at any church public meetings or camp meetings
> Should help in offering collections in the church or at camp meetings
> should help and guide visitors at church
> should help in maintaining the church clean and other small works at the church in regards to cleanness of the church.
NOTE:
Remember all works are to be done to glory of God Almighty and should be done with all our hearts to God and not to man.
AMEN!!
CHOIRMASTER
A choirmaster is someone who God has called to guide and to lead the members of the church choir.
In the old testament God had chosen the Levites to be in charge of all music in the temple and I tabernacle and according to 1chronicles 15:22 the Bible gives us one example of the music leader who had the skills in music and David being one of the pioneers in music psalm 4
DUTIES
Coordinates the choir members
Keep all music instruments of the church
Lead and guides the choir in practicals and directs the choir
Leads and directs the church in all song services
Guides the new members who wants to join the choir
Displines the church choir members and all singing groups
NOTE:
All the works of God should be done in harmony with the Glory of God Almighty and not to the glory of man
EVANGELIST
An evangelist is someone who actively promotes the word of God.
God gives evangelist to the church just has he gives every other messenger. Ephesians 4:11-13
Evangelists have the same purpose as pastors and elders to help mature saints, to do the work of God in the ministry
In the Bible we have one of the mentioned Evangelist Philipin Acts21:8 who was the servant of God, who was also a Deacon
DUTIES
The goal to lead and guide the people of God in the ministry
Evangelist are called to come aside with the pastor in ministry
To monitor the work of God in different places in personal
Sharing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
Working to bring others closer to God
Providing Aid and assistance to those in need in the ministry
Helps people to have a deeper understanding of the word of God
NOTE:
1.An evangelist must be very much familiar with the Bible and must be faithful and spiritual.
2. Must be a well respected person with integrity to the Body of Christ.
All works to be done to the Glory of God Almighty.

DEACONS AND DEACONESS
The term Deacon comes from the Greek word diakonos meaning servant or minister.The Deacon is an appointed member of the local church who assists by serving other members and meeting material needs.
The office of Deacons was developed to the physical needs of the members of the body of Christ.
The initial appointment takes place first in Acts 6:1-6 with the apostles choosing (7) seven members to serve the multitudes and Also in Philippians 1:1 were Paul is writing to the elders and deacons.
Deacons must be well respected and have integrity 1 Timothy 3:8
DUTIES
Maintain the smooth operation of the church by e.g ushering
Maintain church security during service and other services
Visitation they should join the pastor and elders in visiting members
Assisting in common services
Helps in preparations of meals at church or in church meetings
Caring for the church
DEACONESS
The Bible tells us that in 1 Timothy 3:11, the wives or women who serve as deaconess also should be well respected and they also should respect themselves when they are on service to the Lord and in their homes .
The duties in the church still remains the same as of the Deacons
In Romans 16:1, Pau recommends a woman to assist him.
